Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the NYC office

Compensation: $175,000–$265,000 OTE (base plus variable), plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead complex AI-driven hirify.global deployments from use-case scoping through stable production.
• Design solution architectures, develop decision logic, and deploy production-grade Generative AI agents.
• Align with technical and business stakeholders to solve customer challenges and accelerate time to value.
• Scope work, sequence delivery, remove blockers, and balance scope, speed, and quality.
• Translate customer needs into actionable product insights and influence the product roadmap.
• Build reusable resources, best practices, and tools to scale the forward deployed engineering function.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
• Production-grade Python and SQL experience, with strong knowledge of REST API design and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams with a customer-centric mindset.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from the NYC office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solution Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or equivalent in a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience building AI applications for financial services.
• Experience applying and optimizing statistical or machine learning models for business problems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
