Technical Principal (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington or Irving, Texas, United States; two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, architecture, development, and production deployment of agentic voice solutions using Genesys in contact center environments.
• Design and deliver Generative AI systems, including agentic and multi-agent architectures, RAG pipelines, orchestration frameworks, APIs, microservices, deployment pipelines, and testing.
• Guide and develop an AI engineering team, supporting hiring, onboarding, mentorship, technical excellence, and architectural decision-making.
• Define standardized AI architecture, patterns, libraries, and development practices for enterprise adoption.
• Embed privacy, data governance, auditability, PII protection, risk mitigation, compliance, and model evaluation into AI solutions.
• Partner with product, architecture, security, legal, compliance, and engineering stakeholders while exploring emerging Generative AI technologies.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of software engineering experience covering architecture, development, and testing.
• 3–5 years of leadership through mentorship in Generative AI or Agentic AI, plus 3–5 years leading projects and initiatives through influence.
• Production experience with agentic architectures, RAG, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise Generative AI applications.
• Strong Python skills, with additional experience in C# or Java; familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, automated deployment pipelines, and scalable distributed systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Genesys, telephony, and agentic voicebots.
• Experience with AI-assisted research, summarization, content generation, and workflow integration.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
