Location: Hybrid in Livingston, NJ, New York, NY, Sunnyvale, CA, or Bellevue, WA. Remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements. This position requires access to export controlled information, therefore, candidates must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible for specific export authorizations.

Salary: $188,000–$275,000 base salary range.

What you will do

• Embed within customer AI engineering teams to design, prototype, and productionize AI agents using W&B Weave.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding architectural decisions and best practices for agentic workflows.
• Develop reference implementations, demos, and example projects.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to influence the W&B Weave product roadmap.
• Conduct technical workshops and enablement sessions for customer adoption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in customer environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, or operating LLM-powered applications or AI agents in production.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or tooling (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end systems from prototype through production deployment.
• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to access export-controlled information without authorization due to U.S. Government export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience building or supporting production ML/AI systems at scale.
• Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or reinforcement learning workflows.
• Prior experience in forward deployed engineering, field engineering, or solutions architecture roles.
• Experience collaborating closely with product teams to influence roadmap decisions based on customer needs.
