TL;DR

LiDAR Sensing Analyst: Processing and managing remotely sensed data for asset management with an accent on data organization, quality assurance, and geospatial solution development. Focus on integrating new processes within geospatial frameworks and troubleshooting data and software issues.

Location: On-site in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Periodic field visits within the service territory are required.

What you will do

• Gather, organize, classify, and process remotely sensed data (LiDAR, Survey Data, Digital Twin, RGB Imagery, Video, Multi-spectral, GIS data) for asset management.
• QA/QC field datasets for accuracy and completeness, ensuring quality deliverables.
• Produce and maintain various 3D models using Leica or other formats.
• Create delivery datasets and geospatial image products for various stakeholders.
• Continuously integrate new processes into the client’s Geospatial framework and develop geospatial solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with geospatial data and related software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• One or more years of experience with Leica, PLS-CAD, and Trimble Surveying Applications preferred.
• Proven analytical skills, a high level of organizational skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to sit/stand for long periods and interact with a computer for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to work on W2 only. No C2C or 1099.

Nice to have

• Part 107 UAS Certification acquired or the ability to obtain it.
