What you will do

• Improve EH&S performance by promoting an incident-free workplace and mitigating safety risks.
• Develop and implement programs and procedures ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local occupational safety standards.
• Conduct compliance audits and guide teams in implementing corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments, such as hazard and ergonomic assessments, to reduce workplace injuries.
• Assist with safety incident investigations, develop root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions.
• Support the Hazardous Substances Management Program, including new chemical approval and SDS updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Occupational Health & Safety or related field of study.
• 3+ years of work experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety professional.
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Advanced applied knowledge of health and safety programs including LOTO, Electrical Safety, Working at Heights, Hazard Communication, Lasers, and Machine Guarding.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and CFR 1910.331 – 1910.335, Electrical Safety, and CFR 1910.302 – 1910.308, Design Safety Standards for Electrical Systems.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to work flexible and/or varied shift schedules to ensure safety coverage.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Professional License or Certification (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.).
