TL;DR

Threat Intelligence Analyst: Proactively monitors the threat landscape and keeps the business updated on risks to L&G, including monitoring threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures. Focus on dynamically assessing risk, prioritising response, and ensuring the business is updated on strategic, operational, and tactical threat intelligence.

What you will do

  • Analyse and understand threat actors’ tactics, techniques, and procedures, translating this into operational activities.
  • Ensure the business is updated across strategic, operational, and tactical threat intelligence.
  • Dynamically assess the risk associated with identified issues and prioritise response activity.
  • Monitor for adverse changes in security posture across L&G’s supply chain and help remediate identified issues.
  • Maintain threat intelligence platforms, ensuring they remain fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with L&G CISO security teams, including Security Operations and Vulnerability Management, to share intelligence effectively.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Threat Intelligence Platforms and threat feeds (STIX/TAXII).
  • Good understanding of strategic, operational, and tactical threat intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and communicate associated cyber risk.
  • Work location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Nice to have

  • Experience in managing third-party relationships.
  • Threat Intelligence and/or Cyber Security certification (CPTIA, CRTIA, CCTIM, GCTI, GOSI, GSOA or equivalent).
