What you will do

• Evaluate security products and solutions against defined criteria.
• Review technical documentation, test results, and evidence packs.
• Perform structured, repeatable testing using established methodologies.
• Produce clear, defensible technical reports.
• Learn how formal product evaluation schemes operate and progress towards leading evaluations.

Requirements

• Strong writing and analytical ability.
• Logical, evidence-based decision-making with high attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical material and extract key risks and issues.
• Independent working style, professional curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Must be willing and able to undergo mandatory pre-employment background checks (BS7858 screening).

Nice to have

• ISO 27001 auditing or risk/assurance work.
• QA or validation experience in regulated environments (ISO 17025, ISO 9001).
• Functional or acceptance testing in structured environments.
• Understanding of networks or security fundamentals.
• Exposure to CAS, CPA, CTAS, CC.
• Programming or scripting knowledge.
