Business Development Representatives (EdTech): Generating high-quality leads and building relationships with educators, school leaders, and decision-makers for K-12 math education technology with an accent on in-person outreach, regional conferences, and strategic account alignment. Location: New York: 6 W 18th Street, NY 10022. Must work from our New York office four days per week.
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 base, plus commission.

What you will do
- Represent hirify.global at regional conferences, trade shows, and education events to generate new leads.
- Proactively research and identify target schools, districts, and education stakeholders.
- Generate and qualify new leads through in-person outreach, cold calls, and email campaigns.
- Act as a client-facing ambassador, communicating hirify.global's value proposition.
- Work closely with Account Executives to coordinate outreach and ensure smooth handoffs.
- Gain exposure to later-stage sales activities, including discovery, demos, and pipeline management.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or lead generation roles within B2B sales.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales or pipeline targets.
- Comfortable in client-facing environments, including in-person events and conferences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with a sales team.
- Strong interest in the education sector and a desire to make a positive impact through technology.
- English: B2 required.
- Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience attending or working education conferences or field marketing events.
- Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or other GTM sales tools.
- Prior experience in education technology or a similar mission-driven industry.
