What you will do
- Collaborate on event strategy development and drive operational excellence across a growing event portfolio.
- Independently manage and reimagine various first-party events and own a major workstream for the annual conference.
- Design and execute demand generation events to drive qualified pipeline for Sales.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to align events with broader company objectives and deepen customer relationships.
- Mentor team members and independently drive company-critical event strategies.
Requirements
- 7+ Years of senior-level experience in Event Management in a B2B or B2D SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of leading strategic event initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional project management skills for complex, multi-stakeholder projects across different time zones.
- Track record of independently owning first-party events from conception through post-event analysis with P&L responsibility.
- Comfort with regular international travel and managing events across multiple regions and cultures.
- Ability to excel in an asynchronous environment using tools like Notion, Zoom, Slack, and Linear.
Nice to have
- Experience with developer and technical audiences, particularly mobile app developers.
- Knowledge of product-led growth communities and subscription businesses.
- Experience with indie developer and maker communities.
- Background in technical conferences and hands-on workshop formats.
