What you will do
- Define the life sciences product strategy and identify the highest-value use cases.
- Lead discovery with life sciences partners to understand their workflows, data needs, and buying processes.
- Drive 0-to-1 product development by defining requirements and partnering with ML and engineering teams.
- Navigate data strategy and compliance, working with legal, clinical, and engineering teams.
- Serve as the internal expert on life sciences.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time building products for or within life sciences (pharma, biotech, medical device, or health data and analytics).
- Proven 0-to-1 product development experience, having shipped new products.
- Commercial fluency with early-stage deals, working closely with sales, partnerships, or business development.
- Comfort with ambiguity, capable of running discovery, forming hypotheses, and adapting quickly.
- Strong cross-functional credibility, able to communicate effectively with ML scientists, lawyers, and pharma VPs.
- Clear, direct communication skills, simplifying complex information without losing precision.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-world evidence, observational data, or clinical data platforms.
- Familiarity with how pharma companies structure and fund digital health partnerships or data licensing deals.
- Prior work at the intersection of AI/ML and clinical data.
- Experience with IRB considerations, HIPAA, or de-identification frameworks.
