What you will do

• Drive developer experience (DevEx) for hirify.global APIs, building intuitive self-service experiences, seamless onboarding flows, and advanced customization interfaces.
• Build the API ecosystem by creating reusable components, comprehensive documentation, starter templates, and client libraries (SDKs) for customers and ISVs.
• Act as the API standard-bearer across hirify.global, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, security, and reliability of customer-facing APIs.
• Implement automated quality gates, strict contract testing, and robust monitoring infrastructure to prevent breaking changes and security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• A "Product-First" API Mindset, understanding the importance of reducing cognitive load, clear abstractions, and stellar documentation.
• Deep expertise in designing scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and distributed architectures (using Go, Python, Java, C#, or similar).
• Comfortable crossing the stack, using modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) to build developer-facing dashboards, signup flows, and configuration UIs.
• Track record of owning services end-to-end, including production operations, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered tools (like GitHub Copilot or Claude) to accelerate velocity for boilerplate code, test generation, and debugging.
