TL;DR

Cash Operations Team Leader: Managing and optimizing workflows for cash management within a financial platform with an accent on team development, quality assurance, and compliance with FCA Regulations. Focus on maintaining high operational standards, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping, and supporting project implementations within a structured environment.

Location: Hybrid working model, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office in Manchester, London, or Bristol. New team members will spend the first 3 months full-time in the office.

Salary: £31,000

What you will do

  • Manage and optimize workflows for cash operations, ensuring efficiency and timely record-keeping.
  • Train, develop, and coach team members, including performance reviews and identifying training needs.
  • Ensure all internal and external SLAs are met and produce effective KPI data and MI.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through QA checks and promptly address customer queries.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA Regulations and develop effective key controls to minimise business risk.
  • Support project implementations, fixes, and upgrades through software testing and process definition.

Requirements

  • Team Leading experience or significant experience in a senior financial services role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of client money rules in relation to investment business (CASS).
  • Knowledge of banking payment methods (BACS, Faster Payments, Debit Card, Cheques).
  • CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, structured environment, and organise and prioritise tasks for self and others.
