What you will do

• Apply software engineering and mathematical analysis to the design and evaluation of firmware systems.
• Develop and execute test automation using Python and Robot Framework.
• Research and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
• Coordinate with project teams to determine project scope, timelines, and testing requirements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement necessary changes to ensure performance.
• Manage build pipelines and maintain test documentation standards within a CI/CD environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
• Must be able to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
• Experience with embedded systems, RTOS environments, and microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR).
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and Jenkins CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of source control systems like Git and full software development lifecycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for functional specification authoring and reporting.
