Location: Cary, United States. Candidates based outside of North America must be willing and able to consistently work US Eastern time zone hours.

What you will do

• Advise Epic senior management, Product Counsel, and Legal leadership on key global laws and online safety frameworks.
• Lead multi-stakeholder regulatory compliance strategies.
• Provide legal analysis of legislative and regulatory drafts to the Public Policy team.
• Support advocacy and engagement with regulators and trade associations.
• Respond to global regulatory inquiries and investigations.

Requirements

• Qualified attorney with at least 8 years of experience in regulatory compliance (in-house, law firm, or regulatory body).
• Experience handling regulatory enforcement actions brought by regulatory bodies.
• Prior work and/or substantial knowledge of the tech industry, with an advantage for video games.
• Comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder environment, navigating complex issues, and driving high-impact projects.
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of individuals and teams.
