What you will do
- Design integrations across enterprise business systems, including Zip, Salesforce, and Oracle Cloud, using MuleSoft and Zip’s Integration iPaaS platform.
- Build Python-based tools and automations for data validation, API testing, and process optimization.
- Write and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and analytics.
- Collaborate with partner engineering and operations teams to ensure integration robustness, security, and scalability.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and regression tests for custom components and data flows.
- Monitor and support launched integrations and automations, continuously improving reliability and performance.
- Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and version control using GitHub and modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years architecting, designing, and scaling enterprise APIs and integrations in high-volume environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in iPaaS Integration platforms, preferably MuleSoft.
- 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with Python, Kotlin, Java or Go.
- Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise business systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Zip, Coupa, Salesforce, Workday or SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data pipelines (Airflow, Fivetran, Prefect or Databricks).
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3, Lambda, SQS, RDS).
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Proven track record of delivering complex integrations for procurement, finance, or supply chain systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in one or more end-to-end procurement transformation projects using Zip or Coupa.
- Certifications in MuleSoft, AWS.
- Experience leveraging LLM-based tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf).
- Experience or familiarity in building MCP servers, using Python or Typescript, for Agentic workflows.
- Experience leveraging AI/ML-based automations for technical and business processes.
