Account Manager (Insurtech)

TL;DR
Account Manager (Insurtech): Engaging with clients and cultivating long-lasting relationships to drive retention and renewals for an insurance product platform with an accent on account management, client satisfaction, and growth identification. Focus on negotiating renewal contracts, being the main point of contact for clients, and pro-actively monitoring account health and opportunities.
Location: Remote, with required in-person meetings with clients once or twice a week. Candidates must have a full UK driving license and access to a car.

What you will do
- Oversee client account management, including assisting and commencing negotiating long-term renewal contracts to maximise profit.
- Operate as the day-to-day point of contact for all matters specific to client accounts.
- Act as the principal interface between experts and clients, ensuring client happiness and success.
- Serve as the main point of escalation for complaints or clients needing senior staff assistance.
- Organise regular corporate entertainment events and client-management team gatherings.
- Continually monitor the client portfolio for opportunities and account health indicators, reporting proactively on successes, failures, and opportunities.
- Ensure client data and communications are accurately stored in the CRM system.
Requirements
- Experience in the insurance / Insurtech industry to understand client needs and language.
- Strong familiarity with insurance software platforms, ideally through hands-on experience or management.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable on the phone and in written correspondence.
- Proactive attitude and high curiosity, enjoying asking questions and taking initiative.
- Personable attitude and the ability to build rapport easily.
- A full UK driving license and access to a car (for in-person meetings).
