What you will do

• Help grow organic search, Discover, and Google News across hirify.global’s domains.
• Optimise hirify.global’s content for large language models.
• Drive sign-ups to hirify.global Club and lead trending content output.
• Lead hirify.global’s live blog strategy and feed into forward planning meetings.
• Own the SEO strategy for specific sections and communicate with the newsroom.
• Analyse and report on SEO successes and failures, performing competitor analysis.
• Monitor algorithmic changes and recommend actions to relevant teams.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of daily news trends and long-term content strategies.
• Good relationships and strong communication with section heads.
• Ability to implement ideas and strategies for overall traffic growth.
• Good understanding and effective use of SEO tools in the newsroom.
• Passion for news and digital journalism.
• Good team player.
