TL;DR

Account Manager (Test & Measurement): Maximizing sales through developing new business and working with existing customers using a solutions-based sales approach with an accent on understanding customer needs and identifying how products provide technical solutions. Focus on growing market share, exceeding quota, and developing a strong sales funnel.

Location: Must be based in Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia area (Mid Atlantic, USA) and must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary: $100K–$230K

What you will do

  • Understand customer needs and identify how hirify.global products can provide technical solutions.
  • Create new business opportunities and expand hirify.global brand awareness in new and existing customers.
  • Effectively demonstrate and communicate how hirify.global products can best solve measurement/application problems.
  • Grow the R&S market share and exceed quota.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales funnel.
  • Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service, and development groups on customer product and application requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field.
  • 10+ years technical sales experience, preferably in the test industry.
  • An understanding of current electronic industry technologies.
  • The ability to travel throughout the territory with some possible out of territory/international travel.
  • Experience in managing large and complex accounts and an existing, active network of productive relationships within strategic accounts.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of aerospace and defense technologies.
  • Experience selling into Government Prime contractor community.
