Product Service Engineer (Mining)

TL;DR

Product Service Engineer (Mining): Monitoring and improving the overall performance, serviceability, reliability, and maintainability of the MineStar Fleet management system, with an accent on coordinating product problem investigation and resolution using the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process. Focus on developing and implementing interim and permanent corrective actions with engineering, and providing technical support and escalation.

Location: This position requires working onsite five days a week at our Tucson Mining Center in Tucson, AZ, United States.

Salary: $95,640.00–$143,520.00

What you will do

• Monitor product performance and coordinate serviceability, reliability, and maintainability improvements with dealers and customers.
• Coordinate product problem investigation and resolution using the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process.
• Work with engineering to develop and implement Interim Corrective Action (ICA) and Permanent Corrective Action (PCA).
• Provide technical support and escalation to engineering via Call Center and Sales Force (TSC).
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) gateways, Support Request Reviews, and bug triages.
• Assist in creating, updating, and improving product service publications and release notes.

Requirements

• Ability to work full-time onsite at the Tucson Mining Center in Tucson, AZ.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• No relocation assistance is available.
• Understanding of effective communication, service excellence, and customer focus.
• Knowledge of problem solving approaches and techniques.
• Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods for technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows Servers, SQL databases, and scripting.
• Experience with electronics and machine onboard systems.
• Experience with DevOps & cloud computing.
• Prior experience in mining or mining technology.
