hirify.global is seeking an Embedded Linux Field Engineer to develop our embedded Linux SDK written in Rust.

What you will do

• Design solutions for prospects and customers to solve real-world business problems.
• Improve the Linux SDK to work on every major embedded Linux distribution across IoT devices.
• Engage directly with firmware engineers at cutting-edge hardware companies to integrate the platform.
• Build out and improve reference examples, SDK documentation, and automated tests.
• Ship code early and often to customers, seeing devices in the wild running your code.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing Rust/C/C++ code on embedded Linux devices, typically Arm CPUs.
• Well-versed in Yocto or Buildroot.
• Great communicator, credible with technical buyers, and clear with business stakeholders.
• Organized, efficient, and passionate about automated testing and CI/CD.
