Location: Must be based in New York City or Mountain View, US

Salary: $134,000–$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Document and explain work in AI model safety, ethics, and responsibility for global audiences.
• Articulate hirify.global's vision for AGI benefits, risk mitigation, and deployment policies.
• Translate complex technical information on AI architectures and safety methodologies into clear, trustworthy content.
• Develop editorial strategies and manage multi-format content production (blogs, social media, op-eds, speeches).
• Ensure consistent communication of views on AI regulation and governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in policy communications, technical writing, or journalism, specifically focused on AI safety/responsibility, technology policy, or cybersecurity.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and convey complex technical research papers and machine learning terminology.
• A portfolio demonstrating the ability to explain complex topics with clarity and elegance.
• Ability to manage multiple writing projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English (C1+ level required for an exceptional writer role).
