What you will do

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, and innovation hubs.
• Partner with faculty leaders and research groups to position hirify.global as an infrastructure partner for academic spin-outs.
• Design and execute hirify.global-driven academic programs for early-stage startups and research-driven teams.
• Plan and execute startup-focused events like hackathons, workshops, and demo days with academic partners.
• Report on KPIs related to academic startup engagement and early-stage pipeline development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across hirify.global to align academic initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in community management, partnerships, or ecosystem development with exposure to academic environments.
• Proven ability to build and manage partnerships across universities, incubators, or accelerators.
• Experience designing and executing community programs or events (e.g., hackathons, workshops).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Genuine interest in AI, emerging technology, and supporting early-stage founders and builders.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Background in developer communities or technical education.
• Track record of driving measurable outcomes through university community engagement and partnerships.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud computing, or developer tools.
