Salary: $103,500 - $126,500 CAD

What you will do

• Own and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with support from a Junior Accountant.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and oversee intercompany eliminations.
• Maintain and improve financial reporting processes to deliver accurate and timely insights.
• Develop and implement strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, analyze budget vs. actuals, and identify opportunities to optimize financial performance.
• Play a leadership role in developing and mentoring junior members.

Requirements

• You have a CPA Designation.
• You have 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting & finance.
• You have experience with full-cycle accounting, including month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
• You have a strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP principles, with experience in financial statement preparation.
• You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering error-free, concise, and accurate work.
• You are comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused role.

Nice to have

• You have prior experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or a neobank.
• You have experience with assurance and/or audit.
• You have experience or strong working knowledge of payroll processing and accounting software (e.g. Rippling, Gusto, Xero, Rillet, Plooto etc.)
