Location: Redmond, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $163,000–$296,400 per year (typical U.S. range), or USD $220,800–$331,200 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area).

What you will do

• Identify customer needs and market opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Define the long-term vision and strategy for GenAI modeling and quality roadmaps in Search.
• Create user stories and epics, and communicate product strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with UX, Design, Research, Software Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategies with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering.
• Monitor product performance, collect metrics, and build trust with the customer community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including passing a Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
• Experience working with Search or Recommendation systems.
• Experience with large language model development, including data collection and pre/post-training, inference.
