What you will do
- Lead, architect, and develop features for the Risk Cloud platform using Spring Boot, Java, and other leading backend tools.
- Write tests and review code to facilitate an efficient development cycle and prevent bugs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, engineers, QA) using Agile methodologies.
- Help improve the front-end application for speed, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Significant (6+ years) professional experience in software engineering or a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
- Desire to grow as a leader, architect, and coder in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
- Strong expertise in developing web applications with modern backend frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to produce clear documentation.
- Must be based in the US due to benefits and compensation structure.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, Angular, Neo4j, Redis, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Experience working across the full software stack.
- Experience bolstering or optimizing a CI/CD system.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and best practices.
