What you will do

  • Execute the renewal process to retain and expand ARR, proactively handling churn scenarios and discount strategies.
  • Oversee renewal management for existing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate contract renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand needs, address concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Analyze renewal metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance customer retention.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless renewal experience.
  • Proactively reach out to customers prior to contract expiration to discuss renewal options and address potential issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in renewals, account management, or customer success in a software or technology environment.
  • Fluency in German; spoken and written.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue principles.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Gainsight, and other tooling.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.
