What you will do

• Drive the full product development lifecycle for next-generation storage hardware, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and x86 integration.
• Lead hardware validation by designing, implementing, and automating sophisticated qualification tests.
• Conduct deep-dive root cause and failure analysis on hardware issues using specialized tools.
• Optimize system integrity by auditing power, signal, and thermal functionality for high-speed interfaces.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, and JDM partners to ensure reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• Expert-level command of hardware design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Deep understanding of x86 architecture and high-speed signal integrity routing and analysis.
• Proven ability to architect complex compute, storage, and I/O systems.
• Hands-on experience qualifying subcomponents like SSDs, AC/DC power supplies, and VR circuits.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for developing automated test environments.
• Advanced knowledge of bus technologies (PCIe, I2C, SPI) and high-speed Ethernet standards.
• Work from the Santa Clara, CA office is required.
