What you will do

• Design, build, and scale AI-powered backend services embedded into the Manychat platform.
• Architect scalable, async Python services operating in high-load, production environments.
• Integrate LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Azure-hosted models) with a strong focus on reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency.
• Design and maintain internal and external APIs, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Own features end-to-end, from discovery and technical design through production deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Ensure production reliability through strong observability practices (monitoring, logging, alerting).

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Python development in production environments.
• Strong expertise in modern Python frameworks (FastAPI preferred; Django/Flask acceptable).
• Solid experience designing and integrating APIs, including third-party services.
• Strong understanding of async programming and concurrency (AsyncIO).
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and large datasets.
• Experience building and maintaining high-load backend systems.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating LLMs or AI/ML features into production systems.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts applied in real-world products.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience with Meta or TikTok APIs.
