What you will do

• Co-found and shape the AI engineering team, influencing architecture and culture from day one.
• Train and fine-tune LLMs, SLMs, and other ML/DL models for communication and trade surveillance.
• Architect and optimize training and inference pipelines for cost-efficient scalability in production.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI techniques such as RAG, agents, and distillation.
• Own explainability and auditability, producing model cards and evidence artefacts for compliance officers and regulators.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency with modern ML/DL frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Experience training and/or fine-tuning LLMs or SLMs.
• Strong NLP foundations applied to sequence classification, NER, and semantic search.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure, GPU clusters, and MLOps.
