Solutions Engineer (Voice AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $140K–$160K per year plus equity; $60K–$90K commission

What you will do

• Guide enterprise prospects from initial interest through successful pilots, production deployment, security review, and handoff.
• Lead technical discovery and scope integrations with telephony, CRM, and backend systems alongside Account Executives.
• Build voice-agent prototypes, reusable demos, reference architectures, and technical documentation.
• Explain complex systems to engineers and executives and provide hands-on technical guidance.
• Bring customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Stay calm and resourceful while resolving issues during live demos and pilots.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience working at a high-growth company between Series B and Series F.
• Ability to explain complex systems clearly to engineers and executives.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting in Python or JavaScript, including the ability to build working prototypes quickly.

• Experience with telephony, contact center platforms, or LLM-based applications.
