Lead Implementation Specialist (Travel & Spend)

TL;DR

Lead Implementation Specialist (Travel & Spend): Owning high-complexity onboarding projects for SMB and Enterprise customers, focusing on ERP integrations across Travel, Expense, and Invoice products. Focus on coordinating stakeholders, designing advanced setups, applying financial expertise, and mentoring junior team members.

Location: Hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in-person at one of hirify.global's global hubs. Relocation support is offered to move to a hub.

What you will do

• Own and deliver high-complexity implementation projects involving ERP integrations for Travel & Spend.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholder groups (finance, IT, external consultants) for shared goals.
• Design advanced setups and complex customisations with creative problem-solving.
• Apply financial expertise to onboard Invoice modules, supporting policies, workflows, and approval processes.
• Build a strong understanding of ERP systems and finance technology (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics BC, Dynamics F&O).
• Mentor and guide junior Implementation Specialists, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

Requirements

• English language working proficiency is a must for daily communication.
• Solid experience in customer-facing roles with at least 2 proven years in project management, ideally in implementation.
• Solid technical and/or Finance acumen.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills to coordinate internal teams and customers.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving and team player attitude.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with self-serve or custom integrations (SSO, HRIS, SCIM, ERP, CRM).
• Experience in consulting, finance, or direct customer onboarding/technical implementation.
• Experience in Spend Management solution or ERP implementation.
