What you will do
- Define product marketing strategy for MetaMask, shaping positioning and go-to-market approach for new consumer finance experiences.
- Evolve MetaMask's perception from a "wallet" to a broader consumer platform, translating complex concepts into clear stories.
- Drive adoption, engagement, and retention by partnering with Growth and Analytics teams and designing GTM strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leaders to shape launch strategy and advocate for user needs.
- Establish product marketing frameworks, systems, and operating rhythms, coaching and developing a Product Marketing Manager.
- Ensure MetaMask resonates across diverse global audiences and emerging markets, staying connected to fintech, crypto, and consumer technology trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Consumer Marketing, or related roles.
- Proven experience leading product marketing for consumer-facing financial or transactional products.
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy independently and execute hands-on when needed.
- Strong cross-functional credibility with Product, Growth, and Engineering teams.
- Experience operating in ambiguity and building GTM strategies before the category or playbook is fully defined.
Nice to have
- Experience at a fintech, neobank, or consumer platform with embedded financial features.
- Exposure to international or emerging markets.
- Experience repositioning a product into a broader platform or ecosystem.
- Background in customer insights, user research, or data-informed marketing strategy.
- Prior crypto or web3 experience is not required, as crypto fluency can be learned.
