What you will do
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights with strategic recommendations to inform product direction and business priorities.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define KPIs.
- Collaborate with the evaluation data team to plan annotation work and define evaluation schemas.
- Communicate analysis results and outcomes clearly, tailoring messaging based on the audience.
- Help build and evolve the analytical foundation, including event instrumentation and metric frameworks.
- Mentor other analysts and elevate data storytelling and analytical rigor across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent years of practical work experience.
- 5+ years of experience using SQL or similar big data querying languages.
- 5+ years of experience with a programming language such as Python or R.
- 5+ years of experience with applied statistical techniques, such as inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience using machine learning and statistical analysis for building data-driven product solutions or conducting methodological research.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to distill complex findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or a related field.
- Experience in a product-focused role in the medical domain.
