What you will do
- Lead global strategy for community marketing endeavors promoting the Play! PokΓ©mon organization, from live events to local game store play.
- Strategize which digital spaces to create and utilize to reach Play! PokΓ©mon fans.
- Develop foundational strategy to support the Play! PokΓ©mon local game store community.
- Manage resources supporting Play! PokΓ©mon digital community growth, including vendor discovery and contractor management.
- Work with leadership across stakeholder departments to identify opportunities for growth and support of the Play! PokΓ©mon digital community.
- Sophisticate methods for tracking and reporting on fan sentiment and collaborate on player and spectator issues.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of proven experience in community management for gaming and entertainment industries, including local game store communities.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media and community platforms (X/Twitter, Discord, Reddit, Forums, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook).
- Understanding of the βalways onβ nature of social media and willingness to work off-hours as needed.
- Proven expertise in developing compelling social media strategies and effective content strategies.
- Understanding of what drives the success of marketing for official, modern esports organizations and local game store communities.
- Ability to travel and participate in on-site events and activations.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
