Salary: $199,000–$232,000

What you will do

• Build and strategize social media processes, pipelines, and content calendars.
• Adapt and distribute existing content into social media posts and create native social media content (clips, campaigns).
• Advise the a16z crypto team and portfolio companies on social media strategy and profile building.
• Analyze and optimize content programs using data-driven insights.
• Create and produce social content, overseeing short-form clips operation.
• Engage with relevant social media communities and influencers, acting as the online brand voice for a16z crypto.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills through text, multimedia, design, or memes.
• Hands-on experience owning social media for a high-visibility or high-growth brand.
• Proven ability to adapt style and voice across different formats, platforms, and audiences.
• Experience with X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and optionally, with crypto-native tools or video platforms (YouTube/TikTok).
• Strong command of data, including implementing analytics tools and interpreting insights.
• Passion for technology, the internet, open source, and/or crypto.
