What you will do

• Design and build scalable features and services for the core platform architecture.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
• Monitor and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Drive technical improvements in software performance, governance, and developer tooling.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating distributed cloud services.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM) and containerization at scale.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in production-grade languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Demonstrated experience building applications with a focus on resilience, security, and observability.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work from the San Jose office.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of service meshes like Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with security, secrets management, and policy-as-code.
• Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with AWS cost optimization strategies.
