Location: Office-based in Warsaw, Mazovia, Poland. Remote work is only possible if the employee is located in Poland.

What you will do

• Manage a team of frontend, backend, and platform engineers.
• Design, build, and test features for hirify.global Data Cloud services using React, Golang, Kubernetes, and Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, Design, and Platform stakeholders.
• Foster operational excellence, define on-call rotations, and prioritize customer success escalations.
• Build and support growth plans for team members.
• Manage risks, identify mitigation strategies, and execute them.
• Lead week-to-week development through agile ceremonies and execute the engineering roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers (frontend, backend, platform).
• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise software solutions with Golang, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Expertise in developing, testing, and debugging scalable, multi-threaded, concurrent production systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and SaaS architecture concepts.
• Experience with database and/or storage systems, especially in the public cloud.
• University degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms).
• Experience with Azure or AWS.
