What you will do
- Lead the definition and execution of global Payments & Risk Operations strategy, ensuring alignment with product and growth goals.
- Own the global payments partner ecosystem, including selection, negotiation, and performance management, to mitigate revenue loss.
- Establish and optimize cross-journey processes for payments, driving automation and improving service delivery.
- Collaborate deeply with global customer operations and R&D to embed payments/risk into global CX operating systems.
- Utilize data-driven insights for operational decisions, track key performance metrics, and ensure data integrity globally.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of payment operations professionals, setting goals and fostering innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years in payments, fintech, risk, or global operations, including people leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in payments processing, merchant acquiring, payouts, fraud/chargebacks, and compliance across multiple regions.
- Proven ability to design and scale global operating models, processes, and automation.
- Strong understanding of payments partners (e.g., Stripe) and their commercial/technical dynamics.
- Highly data-driven with strong analytical and KPI design skills.
- Solid financial acumen, strategic, and systems-level thinking with executive presence.
