What you will do
- Lead and mentor high-performing software engineering teams.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship, fostering engineering excellence.
- Build and scale engineering teams through strategic hiring and development.
- Drive resolution of complex technical roadblocks and act as a senior escalation point.
- Orchestrate end-to-end delivery of product roadmaps on time and budget.
- Partner with Product Leadership to align technical strategy with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience with 5+ years in hands-on software development.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading geographically distributed software engineering teams of 20+.
- At least 5 years experience with Java, Javascript, C#, C, C++, Groovy, Python, Bash, Angular, SQL, Oracle, MYSQL, Informix.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, Transaction Process, Threading, Debugging.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, automation, test automation, GCP, and AWS.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree.
- Prior experience with Gift and Loyalty systems.
- Prior hirify.global, payment or technology industry experience.
