What you will do

• Lead the development of an integrated platform supporting high-volume customer communications.
• Oversee data architecture, including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and system integration.
• Define and drive the modernization of legacy platforms into a modern, scalable, cloud-native ecosystem.
• Champion cloud-native design patterns using AWS services, event-driven architectures, and Kafka.
• Own end-to-end software delivery, establishing engineering best practices for CI/CD and operational excellence.
• Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing global engineering organization, providing mentorship to senior leaders.
• Partner with product management and business leaders to align technology delivery with business objectives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including senior leadership roles managing large, global teams.
• Proven experience building and modernizing large-scale, enterprise platforms.
• Strong development experience with AWS, Kafka, data modeling, and large-scale data architectures, and ETL pipelines.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year transformation initiatives.
• Experience with high-volume, mission-critical systems such as transaction processing or financial services platforms is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and modern observability practices.
• Experience in Composition platforms (e.g., OpenText Exstream, Smart COMM, Adobe).
• Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
