Salary: $150,400.00 - $225,600.00 USD

What you will do

• Lead the strategy and execution for Azure cloud platform roadmap and design across the enterprise.
• Own and communicate the FinOps strategy, ensuring clear visibility into cloud spend and optimization initiatives.
• Drive workload modernization and migration initiatives in partnership with application owners and stakeholders.
• Deliver solutions in an agile fashion, managing the product backlog and leveraging automation for scalability.
• Lead and mentor a global team of Public Cloud Architects and Engineers, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Partner with Business Units to co-create roadmaps and ensure solutions align with business needs and enterprise guardrails.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with advanced degree).
• Ability to work onsite 4 days a week from the hirify.global facility in Mounds View, Minnesota, United States.
• 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) (Preferred).
• 2+ years of experience with FinOps practices (Preferred).
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Preferred).
• Certification(s) in AWS (Solutions Architect Professional), Azure (Solutions Architect Expert), or FinOps (FOCP) (Preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience building or leading enterprise FinOps practices, including showback/chargeback models.
• Hands-on experience with automation, infrastructure-as-code, or container platforms.
• Experience with PowerBI and integrating cloud platforms with security/compliance.
• Background in vendor management, contract negotiation, or cloud cost optimization.
• Experience supporting advanced analytics, AI/ML, or GenAI workloads on cloud platforms.
• Prior leadership in global, matrixed organizations with onshore/offshore team structures.
