Engineering Manager, Enterprise Product (AI Governance)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York City, requiring ~2-3 times/week in office for collaboration

Salary: $240,000 - $339,900 USD

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and grow high-functioning engineering teams responsible for systems and frameworks.
• Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives for high-quality product building.
• Nurture passionate and capable engineers, multiplying the impact of senior engineers and coaching early-career engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers, including product and design, to execute short and long-term strategies.
• Implement processes to scale team productivity and maintain agility in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco or New York City.
• 5+ years experience as an engineer (Staff or TL level IC) and 2+ years as a manager.
• Strong customer focus and experience defining products with Product Managers.
• Experience navigating large, complex systems.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in growing and mentoring engineers.
• Track record of managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and work streams.
