Manager, Engineering - Managed Services (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, must be within 30 miles of London, UK

What you will do

• Attract, hire, and continually develop the engineering team.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop strategy, technical and product roadmaps, and execute them.
• Champion high code quality, architectural designs, and scalable and resilient systems.
• Lead by example focusing on customer and product needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation (every 4 weeks).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing multiple software products/releases, preferably in SaaS delivery model.
• 4+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ individual contributors and delivering multiple major product milestones.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems running in public and/or private cloud environments.
• Knowledgeable of REST, API design patterns, and microservices.
• Experience managing Fullstack development teams, engineers working on UI Development and backend services.
• Familiarity with Container orchestration technologies and deployment models, modern CI/CD based delivery of software.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with any or some of the tech stack and languages: Java, Golang, No-SQL databases, Apache Kafka, caching technologies like Redis, authN/AuthZ.
