What you will do

• Build and manage a world-class team of data scientists, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Foster a high impact and collaborative team culture focused on agency and clarity.
• Drive product strategy through data-driven insights, including user behavior analysis and experimentation.
• Partner with product, strategy, and research teams to develop ROI frameworks for customers.
• Collaborate with the research team on model evaluation, performance monitoring, and defining quality metrics.
• Structure the company’s data strategy and make critical technical infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related).
• 12+ years in data science or analytics, with product-facing roles.
• Depth of experience using Python, R, SQL for large-scale analytics.
• Comfort building data capabilities from early stages through rapid growth.
• Experience with data visualization tools, both BI and code-based.
• Excellent communicator capable of delivering quantitative findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of healthcare settings, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare billing.
• Experience diving into/shaping Analytics Engineering (recruiting & supporting).
