What you will do

• Define key metrics and build measurement frameworks to evaluate developer productivity and engineering effectiveness.
• Apply rigorous causal inference methods and controlled experiments to derive actionable insights.
• Build statistical models, optimization frameworks, and simulations to automate operational decision-making.
• Investigate anomalies and conduct root cause analyses to guide infrastructure priorities and tooling roadmaps.
• Scale analytics infrastructure to support rapid iteration as AI products grow.
• Present complex analyses and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Working expertise with Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with experimental design, A/B testing, and statistical modeling.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the San Francisco or New York City offices.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Experience with AI/ML products, large language models (LLMs), or developer tools in the AI ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and performance engineering.
• Experience working in rapidly scaling environments.
