TL;DR

Social Media Content Coordinator Co-op (Marketing): Creating and editing social media content for brand content across various platforms with an accent on short-form videos, photos, and graphics optimized for each platform. Location: Must work in-office five days a week in Boston, MA

What you will do

  • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for upcoming campaigns and always-on social content.
  • Capture and edit short-form videos, photos, and graphics optimized for each platform.
  • Monitor social trends, sounds, and memes to inform creative concepts and identify opportunities for brands to join the conversation.
  • Help organize and upload content to social scheduling platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, strategists, and influencer marketing teams to bring ideas to life.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design program (graphic design, digital media, visual communication, or related field).
  • Great proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and basic familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro).
  • A good understanding of social media platforms and experience in creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
  • Ability to design visually appealing graphics while keeping up with platform-specific guidelines.
  • Creative thinking, adaptability, and openness to feedback.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with motion graphics and animations for social media.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., hirify.global, Buffer, or Hootsuite).
  • Knowledge of trends in social media marketing and content strategies.
