Location: Hybrid working, requiring at least two days per week or 40% of time at the Leeds office, UK.

Salary: £72,702 – £80,780

What you will do

• Be hands-on in engineering and maintaining Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline-based products and services.
• Observe, investigate, and fix service issues through code changes and implementing improvements.
• Implement further automation and reduce toil by utilising existing Cloud tooling or new technologies.

Requirements

• Strong DevOps understanding, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to quickly understand, update, and write code in Python, Groovy, BASH, or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud security, networking, and APIs.
• Demonstrable experience in problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Observability Tooling (Dynatrace Monitoring).
• Experience developing and administrating Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of incident management and issue resolution.

Nice to have

• Certifications and experience working with Google products.
• Direct experience in cloud engineering, with understanding and demonstrable experience of SRE Principles.
• Strong Linux background, including working with filesystems and processes.
• Experience building fault-tolerant systems and strong DR policies.
