TL;DR
Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure/Terraform/Kubernetes): Supporting a production Azure platform for life insurance client and program management with an accent on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, GitOps delivery, and secure cloud operations. Focus on designing reusable Terraform modules, operating AKS and Databricks environments, embedding DevSecOps controls, and troubleshooting deployment and performance issues.
Location: Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, or Ukraine. Flexible remote and hybrid work options are available. Primary support shift: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM CST, with 9:00 AM CST morning meetings as needed.

What you will do
- Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure with reusable Terraform modules.
- Build and optimize YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, applications, containers, and data workloads.
- Implement GitOps delivery with Argo CD for applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Embed DevSecOps controls, including SonarQube checks, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance validation.
- Administer Azure services, configure monitoring and observability, and troubleshoot build, deployment, and performance issues.
- Manage Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, access controls, and Unity Catalog, while collaborating with architecture, data, and security teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, cloud automation, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Argo CD, GitOps, and AKS.
- Experience with Azure administration, RBAC, networking, storage, cost governance, Databricks, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- English at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
- Availability for the specified CST support shift and occasional morning meetings.
Nice to have
- Microsoft Azure, HashiCorp Terraform, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications.
- Experience with Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, or Ansible.
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse CI/CD automation.
