TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure): Building and operating secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for enterprise retail applications with an accent on Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud networking, and CI/CD automation. Focus on designing secure production environments, automating deployments, resolving infrastructure dependencies, and maintaining reliability under strict security and compliance requirements.
Location: Remote from Bogota, Mexico City, or Costa Rica
Salary: $4,700–$5,300 per month USD

What you will do
- Build repeatable Azure environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Manage Azure services including Storage, Functions, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
- Design and support cloud networking, connectivity, Private Link services, and enterprise application integrations.
- Automate infrastructure, application, and platform deployments through Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve monitoring and operational excellence, and communicate infrastructure risks and dependencies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong Azure DevOps, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, DNS, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, and Private Link.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, identity, access management, troubleshooting, and large-scale production environments.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AZ-500 are relevant to the role.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloudflare, Redis Cache, API Management, or API Gateway technologies.
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical enterprise platforms.
- Exposure to Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience partnering with solution architects on infrastructure strategy and platform modernization.
