Corporate Development Integration Lead (AI): Owning the post-signing phase of M&A activity from confirmatory diligence through integration planning to operational follow-through with an accent on defining and scaling integration playbooks and building repeatable processes. Focus on driving day-one and day-100 integration execution and ensuring acquisitions deliver on their strategic thesis.

Location: Hybrid, based in San Francisco, CA. Visa sponsorship is available, but successful sponsorship for every role/candidate is not guaranteed.

Salary: $240,000 – $310,000 USD (Annual)

What you will do

• Lead confirmatory diligence workstreams post-LOI, coordinating cross-functional teams to validate strategic and technical theses.
• Design and own end-to-end integration plans, covering organizational structure, tooling migration, and product roadmap alignment.
• Build and maintain a scalable integration playbook with best practices and decision frameworks for future deals.
• Drive day-one and day-100 integration execution, tracking milestones and escalating blockers to leadership.
• Partner with HR and people managers to design onboarding and retention plans for key talent.
• Conduct post-integration retrospectives to capture lessons learned and measure outcomes against the original deal thesis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of corporate development or M&A integration experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading post-acquisition integrations at high-growth technology companies.
• Strong technical fluency, either through prior software engineering or product experience, or deep familiarity with evaluating technical organizations and codebases.
• Skilled at building cross-functional relationships and coordinating across product, engineering, legal, HR, and finance teams.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with clear timelines, owners, and accountability.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, maintaining both urgency and precision when managing multiple parallel workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present integration status and recommendations clearly to executive leadership.
• Genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with hirify.global's mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.
• Must be able to be in one of the hirify.global offices at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in AI/ML companies or deep learning research environments.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to a corporate development integration function.
• Experience with acquihire integrations, including deep familiarity with technical talent retention.
• MBA or advanced technical degree (Computer Science or equivalent).
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations across multiple simultaneous integrations.
• Experience with international or cross-border transaction integration.
